Great family movie ever. Totally stuck to the book. Mathew Broderick leads a all-star cast in this tale of one small brave mouse. When a kind rat falls into the queen's soup she dies. Soon after rats and soup is outlawed. Later the brave, kind, and peculiar mouse, Despereaux is born. wth no fear or anything Despereaux takes off into the human world only to read a book, about a brave knight saving a princess, just like the one in the very castle, Princess Pea. When Despereaux is caught reading the book he is banished from mouseworld. sent to the dungeons he is sentenced to be eaten by rats. When the kind rat, Roscuro, turns evil, because the people above hate him for killing the quean (acidentaly). He uses the princess' servant girl, Miggery Sow to capture her and bring her to the dungeons. Later Despereaux, earliear (Before badness) befrending Roscuro, brings Ruscuro to reason...
